Mad for Metro

Posted by Rebecca | Wednesday, January 10, 2018

What’s your favourite colour? Is it a bit OTT for a floor to ceiling bathroom look? Why not consider threading a refreshing strobe of colour through your home using metro tiles?

These handy tiles can be styled to complement whatever else is going on in the room:

  • Try slotting them together in a herringbone pattern
  • Play around with laying them vertically or horizontally, creating completely different looks
  • Pair two or more colours together for stripe or check patterns
  • For a more traditional look, create a horizontal border around the room in a contrasting colour

We have metro tiles in a wide variety of colours and sizes, in both matte and gloss - scroll through and take a look for yourself.

Metro tiles are one of the most versatile options to play around with - a darker grout with a lighter metro tile gives a trendy appearance while a neutral tile with a light grout provides a perfect background for other, more transitional bathroom accessories such as towels and curtains. You have a huge number of options for bathroom and kitchen tiles - from grey metro tiles to teal to red.

Remember, if you're feeling confused or overwhelmed with any tiling options, you can always pop in or give us a call. A member of our team will be more than happy to assist you.
