Playing with patterns
Patterned tiles are perfect for livening up any space, indoors or out, whether you go full-on pattern all over or frame a section with a coordinating or contrasting colour. Choose from multicoloured or monochrome, classic Victorian patterns, Moroccan-style motifs or funky geometric shapes for your walls or floors.
Making an entrance with patterned tiles
Customer Laura Howarth used our Victorian-style Boulevard tiles to add a gorgeous seamless look to her home.
“We have a really obscure hallway with different levels and when we moved in, the whole area and stairs were carpeted in an awful peachy colour. We were trying our best to bring a bit more character to our quirky Victorian home and I desperately wanted to tile this area to make a real ‘wow’ entrance. The beautiful colours in the tiles meant I was spoilt when it came to choosing the accompanying carpet colour for the stairs, but I couldn’t resist picking out the lovely blue, and I’m very pleased I did. I think the end result is fab and we receive so many compliments when we open the front door - just what we wanted!"

Framing patterned tiles
Mixing patterned and plain tiles can create a really striking effect and add interest to your room. Customer Courtney used our Buckingham range of tiles to transform her bathroom, with the Optic tiles really making the shower and bath pop!
“We wanted a timeless bathroom so that it wouldn't look dated in 2/3 years. I think by choosing a mixture of block colour tiles and the optic tiles we managed to achieve this. We also knew we wanted big tiles - a personal preference.”

Patterned tiles for statement walls
Heather fell in love with the character of her mid-19th-century cottage in Shropshire after one viewing and wanted to update the kitchen to give it more of a country-style feel in keeping with the rest of the house.
“We went with a mid-tone grey kitchen with wooden worktops but wanted to brighten the room up with some colourful tiles. I had been searching online and looking for inspiration on Instagram for the type of tile I wanted and fell in love with the colours and patterns of the Nikea tiles - they were exactly what I was looking for.”

Patterned tiles for patios and gardens
Don’t forget patterned tiles for the outdoors! We love customer Naier’s use of our Moroccan-style Agadir and Cordoba tiles to break up space in his patio to produce a unique and striking look.
Naier says: "May I take this opportunity to renew my thanks for the help that you extended to me, in choosing the tiles, and keeping them with you until I could settle matters with the planning department."
