Tile Styles for 2021

Bring out the beige

Beige often gets a bad rap, but this versatile neutral shade is having a massive revival lately, thanks to the Dulux Colour of the Year ‘Brave Ground’.  The beauty of beige tiles is that they work well in both contemporary and classic rooms, and the possibilities are endless when it comes to accompanying furnishings and décor.

Indoor plants

We totally agree with Beth Ditto when she said: "A beautiful plant is like having a friend around the house." Studies have shown that indoor plants boost concentration, creativity, mood and productivity, as well as reducing colds, fatigue and stress. If that wasn’t enough, they also absorb toxins and produce oxygen, as well as adding a lovely splash of colour.

Textured walls

If you’re looking to add interest to your room, you can’t go wrong with split face tiles. They’ve risen in popularity this year and will be one of the hottest design trends of 2021. Full of texture and character, they create a fantastic focal point and are available in a fabulous range of colours and designs to choose from.

Large mosaic tiles

Larger mosaic tiles are a hot tiling trend for 2021. Smaller glass mosaics look stunning in small sections but can be quite pricy, so for larger areas an alternative option is to go with a mosaic-style tile to still give the glamour without all the grout. There are so many shapes to choose from including hexagons and circles.
