We have waited with baited breath for the Dulux Colour of the Year 2023 and it’s an excellent choice. The shade of the moment is Wild Wonder, a mix between a green and yellow – perfect if you’re looking for warm, neutral walls.

Dulux say that Wild Wonder was inspired by “the warm tones of harvested crops with an upbeat glow which connects us with the cycles of life, by creating a sense of energy and positivity”. The hue has been “created to capture the wonders of the earth” and the paint company hopes that the colour will “inspire creativity and bring a sense of nature’s magic to our living and working spaces in 2023”.

There are four colour palettes to support Wild Wonder – the forest vibes of Lush, brighter colours of Buzz, earthy notes of Raw and sea tones of Flow.

The beauty of a soft colour like Wild Wonder is that it works well in both contemporary and classic rooms. And being a neutral colour, the possibilities are endless when it comes to furnishings and décor.
