We absolutely love Lisa and Shaun’s bathroom, with its calming blue bathroom tiles contrasting against bright white. She was one of our first customers to use our new Vita range of brick tiles and don’t they look amazing? We spoke to Lisa to find out more about their project.
The cottage we live in was built in 1650. The bathroom was last decorated in the early 1980s and was showing its age. There were also damp issues and heat retention problems in the extension where the bathroom and kitchen were. It turned out that this extension was built around 1850, not 1960 as we thought- which explained things!
We didn’t just want a new bath suite but something much more radical! We wanted an upmarket look and a wet room which would mean no more getting in and out of baths etc. Neil Darbyshire of Neil Darbyshire Bespoke Bathrooms took on the challenge and created a full wet room with a heated natural river stone floor.
Selecting the perfect Blue Bathroom Tiles
Choosing the right tiles to create an upmarket look was critical. We couldn’t find the blue bathroom tiles we wanted anywhere until we found the Vita range at Direct Tile Warehouse.
The choice of tiles compliments this characterful property perfectly and the illuminated inglenooks add an additional element of light. The tiles and flooring are complimented beautifully by the custom-made solid walnut floating vanity shelf with a feature tile inlay.
I would definitely recommend Direct Tile Warehouse, as the free sample option and the service we received was excellent. We are delighted with the results and spent ages selecting tiles, you were the only place that had what we wanted!
