Whilst the photos of customer Courtney’s avocado suite brought us waves of nostalgia, we were blown away by her geometric design bathroom transformation using our tiles! Find out how she renovated her bathroom to keep it practical but looking utterly fabulous.
Courtney’s Geometric Design Bathroom
We wanted to fit an ensuite into one of our bedrooms and had a vision in our heads of a very modern, high-end family geometric bathroom that had everything we needed and didn’t have any wasted space.
Our first task was to make the bathroom slightly smaller to accommodate the ensuite. Then we had to do a full remodel of the bathroom and rearrange everything in order to have a functional, stylish bathroom.
We wanted a timeless bathroom so that it wouldn’t look dated in 2/3 years. I think we managed to achieve this by choosing a mixture of block colour tiles and optic tiles. We also knew we wanted big tiles – a personal preference.
We chose Direct Tile Warehouse because they are local and have a lot more variety of high-quality tiles compared to their competitors. We had samples from them before choosing tiles and this really helped us.
We have three different tiles in our geometric design bathroom: Buckingham Extra Large Wall Tiles, Buckingham Optic Pattern Tiles & Buckingham Rectified Black Gloss Floor Tiles.
The service from Direct Tile Warehouse was second to none, even when they delivered and had to lug roughly 35 boxes of tiles up our outdoor steps they were always pleasant.
We absolutely love how our geometric bathroom turned out, only one of our tiles cracked & that was our fault. The quality is superb and the tiles will stay for many years. We are extremely pleased with the results.
We 100% would recommend Direct Tile Warehouse to anybody who is looking for quality tiles and great customer service. We will be coming back when we get around to the ensuite!

Split Face Tiles
Split face tiles are a great way to introduce texture, tones and eye-catching interest to your home. Texture is always a popular interior design trend, so split face tiles will always stay up to date through the years.
Indoors, they work perfectly to stand out against plain paint or tiles and to spruce up any room in a sophisticated fashion. Add them as a kitchen backsplash, frame a fireplace or create a gorgeous feature wall.
Split face tiles are also fantastic to use in outdoor spaces. Liven up a dull garden wall with split face tiles to add the wow factor ready for alfresco entertaining and relaxing.
We’ll tell you a little more about split face tiles and show you some of our favourite ideas for using them.
