We love Helen and Rhys’ dreamy bathroom sanctuary featuring our pink bathroom tiles in South London. Pink is a wonderful tile choice as it adds a subtle warmth of colour, goes well with most other shades and is light enough to give the impression of more space. We couldn’t wait to find out more about their renovation project.
Due to the size and layout of our ex-council flat bathroom, we were limited with the amount of renovation we could do to the damp and mouldy space. As we were replacing the fixtures and not redesigning I wanted the tiles to be the showstopper. Our bathroom is below street level and only benefits from natural light in the morning so the tiles had to be light and reflective while also creating space. Deciding on a pink bathroom colour scheme was a bold choice and I spent hours and hours looking for the ‘perfect’ pink tiles online – so many were just too pink or too dark. We’d already confirmed start dates with the builder so time was running out.
I was delighted to come across the beautiful Gamma Pink Brick tile on the Direct Tile Warehouse website using the filter by colour option. The subtle delicate shade was the one for our pink bathroom! Short on time and not being local we took a gamble without trying a sample, Steve was super helpful in advising the amount required and the tiles were on their way.
A subtle pink bathroom sanctuary
The difference the tiles have made is incredible, even our builders were entranced by them. I love the different textures and tones of each tile and how they look in different lights. To avoid it from feeling too pink I’ve complimented the tiles with grey terrazzo accessories to add some contrast.
I can’t recommend these tiles and Direct Tile Warehouse enough!
