As part of a full property makeover in Llangefelach, Swansea, this en suite was given the chance to shine. The homeowners were modernising every room, so this space needed to catch up, and our regular trade customer, Josh Arnold of AR Plumbing and Heating, stepped in to give it a complete fresh start. The result? A bright, clean bathroom refit brought to life with elegant Ivory tiles.
The original en suite had simply fallen behind the rest of the newly refurbished home. It felt dated, tired and ready to be stripped back so it could match the high standard set elsewhere. A full refit was the obvious next step.
Josh took the room right back to square one. Out came the fixtures, off came the tiles, and the space was pared back to a clean, open shell. With everything removed and the surfaces prepared, the en suite was finally ready for its transformation to begin.
Once the room was cleared, the real change started to happen. New fixtures were installed throughout, breathing fresh life into the space. Ivory tiles were laid across the room, instantly lifting it and giving it that clean, modern look the rest of the renovation demanded. Piece by piece, the bathroom refit resulted in a space that felt crisp, considered and completely up to date.
To complete the refit, the homeowners chose our Jude Ivory tiles, a lovely stone-effect design in a timeless Ivory shade. Their modern rectified edges create a seamless look, while the practical R9 slip resistance makes them a sensible choice for an en suite. This balance of style and functionality helped set the tone for the room’s fresh, modern finish.
The finished bathroom refit is bright, fresh and far more in keeping with the style of the refurbished property. The Ivory tiles bring a soft, contemporary warmth, while the full refit by AR Plumbing and Heating has given the en suite a new identity. What began as a dated corner of the home is now a smart, modern space that fits beautifully with the rest of the renovation.
