Underhill Park Development:
Before its impressive makeover, Underhill Park’s facilities were well past their best. As Martin Rodwell, trustee of the Mumbles Community Association (MCA), put it:

“The rugby club has been after new facilities for years and years. How the old ones stood up I don’t know – it certainly didn’t take long to knock them down!”

With a clear vision to create a modern sports destination, the park now provides a home for teams including Mumbles RFC, Mumbles Rangers Football Club and Newton Athletic FC. It is not just about the players, though. The development also opens up new opportunities for local residents and visitors to gather and enjoy community events.
