Uses

If you’re looking to use large format tiles we suggest:

  • Ordering free tile samples from Direct Tile Warehouse and check out how they look in various lights and times of day
  • Think carefully about the grout colour as this can have a big impact on the final look
  • Make sure your tiler can work with larger tiles. They may not have the right cutting equipment and large format tiles can be very heavy
  • If you desire a seamless look consider buying rectified tiles. They may be a litle more expensive but these precision cut straight edge tiles means grout lines can be narrower. Rectified tiles are also available at a 60 x 60 size
  • Consider the size of the room you wish to use the tiles in. Large format tiles can look unbalanced in smaller rooms and the wastage due to cutting will be much higher
