White clay, feldspar (rock-forming tectosilicate minerals), and sand are used to make porcelain tiles. They last longer than ceramic tiles, absorb less water, and may be used both indoors and out. They are, however, more difficult to cut and come in fewer pattern options, but they are a terrific choice for floors in general.
