White clay, feldspar (rock-forming tectosilicate minerals), and sand are used to make porcelain tiles. They last longer than ceramic tiles, absorb less water, and may be used both indoors and out. They are, however, more difficult to cut and come in fewer pattern options, but they are a terrific choice for floors in general.
Our favourite porcelain tiles
Our Nistos anti-slip floor tiles are large contemporary porcelain tiles with a high-end look. These lovely R12 anti-slip tiles come in two tones of grey and are a glamorous yet useful choice that is excellent for active family homes or as outdoor floor tiles.
Architonic is another anti-slip collection that comes in a variety of beautiful neutral colours. They have smooth edges for a seamless appearance and may be used both indoors and out.
Grout for porcelain tiles
Don’t forget to consider which grout colour you want to use when you’re choosing your porcelain tiles. The shade you select can drastically alter the appearance of your tiling. Opt for a coordinating grout colour for a more seamless look or make the tiles stand out more with a contrasting shade.
